Sliding door shelving

I’m not just talking about sliding shelves in wardrobes – that’s something we’ve all known about for some time now. I’m talking about substituting sliding doors in the lounge, study or living areas with sliding book shelves or storage shelves, or, adding new sliding shelves from scratch.

So, like sliding doors in a room, you can either close the two shelf panels together to form one wall and to close off a room, or, open the shelf panels by separating them in two and pushing in opposite directions. It’s a very cool way to add colour and culture to a room with books and ornaments, and create the option of more privacy.
